
Pakistan’s Foreign Reserves Surge to $9.4 Billion Amid Economic Update
On September 5, 2024, the State Bank of Pakistan reported that the country’s foreign exchange reserves have reached approximately $9.4 billion for the week ending August 30. This marks an increase of $33 million from the previous week.
The bank also noted that net foreign reserves held by commercial banks are around $5.3 billion. Overall, Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves stand at about $14.7 billion.
