To celebrate Small Business Month, the NSW Reconstruction Authority (RA), in partnership with Lismore City Council, is offering free, practical workshops for small businesses and non-profit organisations across the Northern Rivers region.
Run by Safer Future, these sessions will help participants build a strong Business Continuity Plan to protect their team, mission, and operations during disasters or unexpected disruptions.
Why Planning Ahead Matters
Businesses in the Northern Rivers have faced repeated crises — including floods, bushfires, cyclones, and sudden power, transport, and communication failures.
Creating a clear, simple continuity plan ensures your business can continue operating safely and recover quickly, no matter what challenges arise.
These hands-on workshops provide step-by-step support to help you prepare for future disruptions and keep your organisation strong.
